We also had breakfast which consisted of a traditional bacon and free range eggs and a beef sausage, whcih was amazing. Highly recommend other people visit this great sustainable cafe/restaurant.   (February, 2011)

two friends & I traveled from Hobart on Saturday to Swansea & had lunch here.. There was only us & 2 other tables. Ambience was kinda non existent. Took FOREVER to get our meal and it cost $16 for a 'gourmet' burger - which consisted of lettuce, carrot, beetroot & the burger.. NO cheese, no bacon - not sure why it was classed as 'gourmet' then we had to pay extra to have chips.....

We wouldn't bother going back again   (Beeka - December, 2009)

MY husband and I visited here on a Wednesday night. There was a few other tables but it was nice and quiet, it was cosy.

The menu was vastly different to the one on here (but it is a different season).

We started off with the wholemeal bread, olive oil and homemade dukkah. The dukkah was AMAZING. Just beautiful! Made with walnuts as the base. I asked if they sold it because I wanted to buy a few jars and give them to family and friends!

That pushed the food score up - the dukkah was easily worth a 10/10.

My husband had the roast of the day (Chicken) and wasn't impressed with the variety of vegetables or the amount of chicken served.

I had the seafood pasta in a white wine and cream sauce. It was OK. But it was about $35!!!

We also had onion rings. $7.50 for a small bowl. They were delicious, absolutely! But not enough to be worth the $7!

For the 2 mains, the dukkah starter, onion rings and a beer and a glass of wine, it was about $90. We're more than happy to pay more than that, but this time we just didn't think it was worth it.
