    The Vegie Bar began as a small takeaway some 16 years ago. It started as an ideal & has grown in many ways. We have been active in which we operate, by giving back to local non-profit organizations, schools, and neighborhood organizations, especially those that promote health and wellness and support our children. The Vegie Bar is a fun, hip place to grab a bite to eat on the run, or sit down and enjoy a quality meal. Above all else, our goal is to consistently deliver the highest quality food and best service possible to our loyal customers, and continue to give our guests a delicious, healthy alternative to traditional fast food.

      I began eating at the Vege Bar some 14 yrs ago & I have to say the meals have only got better. I have my favourite of Gado Gado or the burrito & I simply cannot go past the takeaway falafel wrap, brings a smile to my face even thinking about it.       its my favourite place to eat in the whole of Australia, i just wish we had one in Sydney! i love the burritto wrap, can't go past it and every time i go to Melbourne its my first stop   (alex - July, 2009)

      True it is loud, but it's such a vibrant place that it doesn't detract from the experience too much. The food is great and if you're waiting a while they've now got a bar out the back to have a beer while you wait. It's worth noting that your entire party needs to be there before you can be seated (if you haven't made a reservation before hand).   (Vegan vamp - See my reviews (19) - June, 2009)

      Healthy, hearty and filling meals that satisfy even the staunchest of meat-eaters. Go for one of the wraps for a filling meal under $10 or if you're extremely hungry, try tackling one of the enormous burgers.   (See my reviews (4) - December, 2007)
