I love this place- the food is delicious, always fresh and fast. You will have a great meal if you order from the authentic Vietnamese section of the menu! I can't stop going back to try more meals- I'm so jealous of everyone’s meals even on different tables! The busy, noisy atmosphere adds to the energy, authenticity and vibe of the restaurant- you know it's good when it's always this busy! Enjoy! (Brisbane's best known secret! - January, 2009)

There is a wide range of food to try and very generous serves. Some of the dishes we tried were delicious (steamed dim sims) but others were so-so (combination spring rolls were soft and soggy). Still on average, it was good food. The place was very noisy so I won't recommend this place for a romantic dinner or for business - nobody will hear your words. No matter how many times we dine at The Vietnamese Restaurant, we are NEVER disappointed. Excellent food and service at unbelievable low prices. A King's feast for a pauper's budget!!!! (August, 2008)

Been here a number of times. OK if you want a cheap meal, but that is exactly what you will get. Only a hand full of dishes on the enormously long menu are worth ordering. Seems each time I visit this place it becomes less and less appealing. A shame as they used to be quite good. (March, 2008)
