    What an improvement since the Majour catering team have taken over!! Upgraded menus. Better pricing. More choice. Well-prepared and well-presented food. Positive attitude at pre-pay ordering zone....

      Large group booking for a birthday. Service was poor from the food staff, didn't seem to want to be there, doorman on the other hand was very welcoming.

      We were a large table but from the first meal out to the last meal out there was a differece of 40 minutes. Food that did arrive had mixed reviews from the group, most of our meals were very dry.

      The childrens area kept the children amused both before and after meal service, a real weight off the parents minds.

      Coffee and cake from the coffee shop after the meals was the highlight of this visit.   (Eat out alot - See my reviews (3) - March, 2011)

Positive attitude at pre-pay ordering zone. The second rate laminex tables were a disappointment. Should I be grateful that the lower pricing reflects the absence of table-cloths, etc.?       USED THE CLUB A GOOD FEW TIMES DURING OUR STAY IN 2008 AND NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL BUT SERVERS GO INTO MELT DOWN IF YOU ASK FOR A LARGER PORTION OF VEGGIES AS ITS NOT AN ITEM PRICE. DOORMAN VERY FRIENDLY EVEN TO US POMS WILL USE AGAIN IN 2010 - STEVE C UK   (Steve Curry - July, 2009)

      Club meals at club prices? Tasty fare for the budget conscious workers of the Westlakes? No.The prices are $11-$15 for light meals and $19-$26 for a more substantial plate full.Formula salads are unimpressive. Chips/fries are usually tepid or cool. Bain-marie veges have come out of cans or frozen packs and had the bejesus boiled out of them.Schnitzels (veal and chicken) are passable.Thank God for the excellent cafe bar run by Hal, Debbie and Bethany. Great coffees, teas, cakes and slices at fair and reasonable prices. At the cafe bar, everyone from 5 to 95 years is made ever so welcome.
