the service is always excellent and the food very good. I wouldnt however reccommend the scallops trevidor -very overcooked- but the oysters were beautiful and the beef medallions scrumptious- evrything we've tried there has been lovely- we have been 3 times in 6 months   (Melanie - See my reviews (3) - November, 2011)

We went with a voucher. The owner was not impressed. She was very rude. Also the food choice we were able to pick from was not great. We had a value of $155 to spend but seemed to be only able to pick the " cheaper" meals. The restaurant was empty, yet it took a long time for our food to come out. We used a Living Social deal and found the voucher just a touch misleading. It was supposed to be for a seafood dinner – yet choices were limited and we were only allowed to choose from half the menu, even though the value was for $155 value, we were not allowed to have oysters or choose the seafood platter, which had a value of $70. Yet it was ok to eat a steak with bugs for $35 each. It made no sense. Most of the choices available as mains were for fish only.

They should at least say that the menu choices are limited (ie you can’t have half the seafood on offer even though the value is the same) when you get the voucher.

On a positive note the food we did have was very well cooked.   (Lisa - August, 2011)

We often make the trip from The Shire to this liitle gem of a restaurant - it is an exceptional place and we thoroughly recommend it for excellent quality and very well presented food that is reasonably priced - the owners are very friendly people   (birksb - May, 2011)

I am a member of a Gourmet Toastmasters Club and Tre Bob's is one of our regular and favourite meeting places.
