The amount of staff has lowered in numbers due to the low amount of customers who dine there. This has also affected on how they operate in the preparation of the food. The chef's and the service assistant had a major communication problem in what a particular customer wanted, which took them at least 30 minutes to resolve. Umi used to be a well serviced and a high quality restaurant, they used to have as well high quality chef and it is sad to see them leave due to the appalling management and cost cuts.   (See my reviews (2) - February, 2009)
