Family went here recently for breakfast buffet. Breakfasted here years ago and there seems to be less variety of food this time round. Service excellent. Location and views perfect. Love it.   (Seb - October, 2012)

No exactly a showcase Lygon St experience by any stretch. Small serves, greasy, burnt pizza and way overpriced for what we received in all aspects. In a location where every restaurant competes for your business, this one certainly does not deliver.   (Seb - October, 2012)

We have been to Clancy's twice in recent months and have had more or less the same experience on both occasions. Air Con was unsatisfactory as the temperature was stuffy upon arrival but towards the end of the night we were freezing cold.

Service is very slow. Upon arrival it took 15 min. to order and receive our first drinks. We had to ask for our order to be taken and our bill to be brought to the table even though we were the last table left. Food came out warm to hot (just passed my test) and above average quality. Serving sizes sensible. Despite the poor service, we will be back again (as it is close and reasonable value)   (Seb - June, 2009)

Friendly, local service. I have been here on many occasions due to the fact my parents are locals. Whether it's for morning coffee and cake or dinner, I can only say this place is well worth a try if you happen to be in the area. Service can be slow at times but remember you are in the country! They sell and serve local wines, cheeses and produce etc. all of which make in some way turn up in their sumptuous meals. My only criticism is that some serves are on the small side.

Better than average. Looks a picture from the outside, inside needs a little more attention to detail. Could not fault service apart from the usual lag at end of evening waiting for the bill to arrive. Food was served at temperature and all guests were satisfied with their menu choices. Menu choice was a little too typical of a lot of restaurants these days - same dishes seem to be everywhere. Impressed by wine and particularly the extensive beer menu. (Knowledgeable waiter too!)

NOT IMPRESSED by the refilling of the Molton Brown handwash and handcream dispensers in the bathrooms with cheap alternatives! TUTT TUTT   (Seb - July, 2009)

The one this that was good about this place was the service.

FOOD: Below average, My dish - veges served cold, cut of meat was of a poor quality and not cooked properly, what was in that awful mustard sauce!

AMBIENCE: What you would expect from a converted shopfront. No much in other words.

VALUE: Prices not indicative of quality. Too high for type of establishment.

This place tries too hard. Stick to the basics and do it well ......   (Seb - April, 2009)

Customer Service was excellent. Food even better! Helpful, genuinely friendly, family run/owned Greek restaurant. These people are fair dinkum about pleasing all their guests.

My favourite beer has now become my favourite place for casual afternoon drinks. I was in heaven. Full table service. Great tapas style beer snack food. They even have cider and a good wine list for those not into Little Creatures beers.

If you love beer, you have to take half a dozen friends here. Get there before 12pm on weekends, as it gets very busy.

My wife and I have dined at La Camera on many occasions and have never been disappointed. In my opinion, things just fall into place as they should, timing wise. Food consistence and quality is high and I wouldn't hesitate recommending this fine establishment to anyone wanting a cafe to casual dining experience.
