Been to lunch here several times now and all have been great. The food is fresh and tasty and delivers what it should for lunch service. Busy and stylish, this place lets you sit and enjoy the atmosphere and doesn't rush you out the door.   (fd - June, 2008)

A decent restaurant in an area that is so concentrated with restaurants offering overpriced, very poor to average food. Having been several times before, we recommend the Cellar as a sure bet.   (fd - June, 2008)

The food needs to be updated - not fresh enough and stylish enough for the location. After dining several times before the menu needs to be changed before we would go back again. For such a beautiful spot, our expectations are high. Maybe just a menu redo is all that's needed. Still a great Newcastle institution.   (fd - June, 2008)

A great little spot for lunch. Food was really good but the outdoor music was too loud. The restaurant would be much better served allowing the patrons to take in the sounds of this fantastic harbour spot rather than being subjected to their taste in music.   (fd - June, 2008)

Poor quality Italian, average service and certainly nothing to rave about. I went there for my birthday with family and I must say, it ruined my evening. We won't be back again.   (fd - June, 2008)
