great pub grub at good prices. $8 steak with mash or chips and salad or vegies is great value.

service depends who is on shift and chefs seems to change a lot.

This has great food and quite unique from other restaurants in bondi! The nana mint drink is so refreshing on a hot summers day! Love the hummus and mixed grill too.   (travelbug73 - February, 2009)

I have been going here for years and love the menu which has hardly changed! Their bircher muesli is better than what i had in 5 star restaurants in Switzerland! I also love that when you order a salad with avocado, you get about 1/2 an avo which is fresh where other restaurants skim on this.

Only downside is when really busy on a weekend service can be slow and it is crowded so hard to get the water which they keep at back. But this is forgiven for a reliable dining experience!   (travelbug73 - February, 2009)

Been going here for years and must admit it is totally hit/miss experience. Some of my best and worst restaurant experiences have been here which is strange as the staff never seems to change.

My one main advise is check the bill!!! The board has prices which are "entree" prices but you must specify for an entree or else you get charged as a main without even knowing what the charge will be as it is not on the board. They also sometimes charge for the extras they "give" like the apertif after your meal and sometimes they don't.   (travelbug73 - February, 2009)
