  • Emperor's Palace Chinese Restaurant

    - 248 Stock rd, Melville WA

    Overall 8.3 - Food 10, Ambience 8, Value 8, Service 7

My best friend and i enjoy north Indian food very much. As a 'ritual' we like to visit Turban every three months or so for its divine butter chicken, mango lassi and secluded boothing. We love the fact that we can chit chat the night away without disrupting others. Each time we have visited, the food has been consistent and the service is genuinely friendly (although it can be quite slow at times with meals taking anywhere between 15 to 30 mins to be served). I would definitely recommend this place to others to try. Keep it up guys.   (saaarx - July, 2009)

    - 93 Market st, Fremantle WA

    Overall 5 - Food 8, Ambience 6, Value 5, Service 1

To be honest i would never re-visit this restaurant ever again, nor would i recommend it to my friend..

Firstly, the service was tremendously poor.. it was very slow service (which is understandable for a Saturday night, it still took us more than an hour and a half from when we were seated, to get our meals), on top of that the first dish to arrive was wrong and after that dilema we were over charged for a total of $67.40, how can someone make such a mistake, i really am quite disappointed. Clearly the staff and their service need to be accessed. Their only saving grace was the food. It was good, tasty, but not outstanding.   (saaarx - July, 2009)
