Who would have thought that where we were staying in Melbourne (The Raddison of Flagstaff) would offer us one of the best meals we had on our trip to Melbourne. Please go and try the chefs curry it is truely one of the most memorable meals I have had. It may be a little noisy but hey it was worth it. LN   (LN - July, 2011)

This was on my must do list when I recently visited Melbourne.... Wow am I glad I did. We opted for the 5 course set menu which was superb, nicely spread out. We had good seating, and my lovely partner had offered me the view but once I realised I'd have my back to the buzzing kitchen we swapped seats. The service was exceptional and I will try to dine there when I next visit.   (LN - July, 2011)

We celebrated our 20th Anniversary there, and whilst the view was to die for the same cannot be said about the food... the blue swimmer crab was tasteless and seemed to have been frozen, I should have sent it back but didn't won't to spoil a lovely day arguing... Main meals where very good, but we're unsure as to whether we'll visit again. LN   (LN - October, 2007)

As a long time diner of this establishment I was most disappointed with my last experience. The food all tasted exactly the same (very bland) and when I questioned why the pepper chicken and the rogan josh were identical they raced out to the kitchen and cooked another one that came out a totally different colour and actually had the flavour of pepper. The restaurant is usually buzzing with diners but on this occassion my partner and myself were the only people there. Maybe that should have been my sign.   (LN - October, 2008)

A beautiful lunch was had by myself and my companions at this restaurant... the specials of the day were exceptional. Roberti continues to bring different dishes to his already outstanding menu. The staff as always were attentive without being over the top.   (LN - March, 2008)

As a long time diner at this restaurant and their previous Mama Barone, I was disappointed to find that they no longer serve their beautiful complimentary bread at the start... whilst the food was still of a very high standard seasonal menu changes would have this regular dining out couple at the door more often.   (LN - February, 2008)

Whilst the food and the setting was excellent, the service for my partner & I and the only other couple in the restaurant was poor.... Struggled to understand their pricing set up with more expensive dishes being the same price as fish & chips... think I'll give it a miss on my next visit.. LN   (LN - November, 2007)
