Wood & Stone - Manly
- 54 West esplanade, Manly NSWOverall 8.8 - Food 9, Ambience 9, Value 8, Service 9
This is a great place to take the family for dinner. There is a child specific menu, which can be coloured in after ordering. (Pencils provided by the owners.)
For the adults, there is a vast selction of gourmet pizzas and side salads. The staff were attentive and helpful. I felt nothing was too much trouble, and they went out of their way to make the kids feel welcome. Clever seating meant that couples had space away from families as well.
Wine list was tempting, which was a lovely bonus!
We will definately return. (Music girl - October, 2008)

Emelia's Vegetarian Restaurant
- 41 Griffin rd, North Curl Curl NSWOverall 8.3 - Food 8, Ambience 7, Value 10, Service 8
Emilia's has an 'earthy' feel to it - in a good way!
It is a little cramped in the restaurant, but this impeede the service. The menu is quite extensive and there was quite a lot of choice - even those who were 'meat eaters' found something they could palate!
It is also very fast - the ambience does not suggest you linger over a herbal tea after your meal. (Music girl - October, 2008)

The food was fast and well prepared. The pizza topping was delicious and hot. The ambience of the cafe area was fine - plenty of space between tables and we were able to hear everyone in our group chatting.

Great selection of delicious slices and the coffee was fantastic! Staff were fast and efficient as well as being polite. Lovely cafe to sit and watch the Manly locals walk on by.

Beaches Pizzeria
- 22 Darley rd, Manly NSWOverall 7.3 - Food 9, Ambience 7, Value 6, Service 7
The food was lovely, but quite slow in coming.
The staff aslo took their time in coming to take our order - they also very successful in avoiding our eye contact when we wanted to ask about the progress of our meal.
On the arrival of the pizzas, they were quite tasty and generous in portion.
The bill was expensive for pizzas, we thought.
It was also very frustrating as Beaches did not take bookings - the staff advised us to 'get there early to avoid being 'disappointed'. (Music girl - October, 2008)

Mirabelle
- Bonds Nursery, 277 Mona Vale rd, Terrey Hills NSWOverall 7.5 - Food 8, Ambience 9, Value 6, Service 7
The setting is quite nice - the restaurant is set inside a garden centre.
The food was a little slow to come out, but nicely presented.
I get the feeling that the resturant would prefer to NOT have children there - although there is a play area outside the restaurant. Food for the children limited and expensive. I also think the food is a little on the expensive side as well. (Music girl - October, 2008)
