as always the food and staff at Banjo's were excellent. Even though we only go once a year they are always extremely welcoming and take great care of my elderly nan making her feel special. The waiter always has a few jokes and a ready smile and the food is delicious. Highly recommend it for a special night out   (pj - September, 2010)

My party of 7 had the Royal Banquet. There was HEAPS of food and all of it was delicious. I have been coming here for years and the service has definitely improved recently. The updated decor is an improvement but it does still get a little too crowded. Not recommended for a romantic interlude (unless you can find a night when its empty), but definitely a great place fo fun get togethers over a delicious meal.   (pj - October, 2008)

I always seem to have a great time at this restaurant. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was delicious (although the profiteroles could be improved upon). I had a group of 8 people and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. At $52 for 3 courses you can't go wrong. A special note though, it is only BYO Monday to Thursday. This is not specified on their website and we were caught out, although their staff were helpful and allowed us to drink what we had brought although at a $6pp corkage. BYO is not available at any time for groups of 10 or more.   (pj - September, 2008)

I felt this restaurant was very over rated. Our service was terrible (waiter made several mistakes with our orders and it took forever to get a water bottle refilled... and then the one that arrived was frozen solid so could not be poured!) I had the Beef Hot Pot but left most of it as the beef was extremely tough - not at all what I expected. Most of our group of 10 were disappointed with the food. The restaurant has just been renovated which has improved it's ambience although it is still a little too brightly lit for my taste. We had a group of 10 people, and the service was fast, efficient and friendly. The staff was helpful with those who had not tried to roll their own rice paper rolls before and didn't make us feel rushed at any time, but were always on hand when needed. The food was fresh tasting and totally delicious. I thoroughly recommend the tender beef cubes for entree (melted in your mouth) and the bonfires (chicken, beef, prawn or a combination) are sensational!   (pj - May, 2007)
