My Tho Restaurant
- 183b Hanson rd, Athol Park SAOverall 8.3 - Food 9, Ambience 7, Value 9, Service 8
Great food! The make your own cold rolls are delicious - the prawn and sugarcane was great - and the salt and pepper pork ribs were delicious. This is also one of the few places in Adelaide that I have found lotus root salad which was my favourite meal in Vietnam. Even though it was busy the service was good and our meals came out quickly. Vego & Love'n It
- 240 Rundle st, Adelaide SAOverall 9 - Food 9, Ambience 9, Value 9, Service 9
You could walk past this place and not realise it. Up the steep narrow stairs and you get to a room with cool mosaics on the wall and kitchy furniture. The menu doesn't change which is good. The burgers are brilliant - they're big, tasty and have quality ingredients. I can never go past the mexican chilli burger with a big fruit smoothie. (Redchilli - September, 2008)

Having driven past this place every day for the last three years we decided to drop in for dinner, and it was worth it. Great food at great prices. Can highly recommend the goat. (Redchilli - August, 2008)

Tetsuya's Restaurant
- 529 Kent st, Sydney CBD NSWOverall 10 - Food 10, Ambience 10, Value 10, Service 10
This was a dining experience! No menu but each dish is explained as it is brought to the table. Food allergies and dietary requirements are catered for. I think we got to 14 courses the night we went and each was great even though there were a few things that I wouldn't normally eat. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgable. Will definitely return for another special occasion. (Redchilli - August, 2008)

Rigoni's is great for lunch and dinner and now that they're doing breakfast you're guaranteed great meals all day long. Love the massive bowls of coffee that you can order. (Redchilli - July, 2008)

This was a fun way to eat however it was a bit difficult with a large group and one pot, would definitely recommend this for smaller groups of people though. very tasty, love that you can "design" your own dipping sauce! (Redchilli - June, 2008)

Bistro, Hotel Elliot
- 35 The Strand, Port Elliot SAOverall 8 - Food 8, Ambience 8, Value 8, Service 8
Hotel Elliot was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. The dining room was really comfortable, the staff were friendly and despite being a bit worried about the steep "pub" prices the food was delicious and the serves were worth the money paid. Will definitely return the next time I am down that way. (Redchilli - June, 2008)

British Hotel

For some reason I always feel gypped when I come here. Steak eaters are safe as the steaks are good quality and cooked well for the price paid. I tried the lamb this time and the lamb portion was tiny (despite being a backstrap rather than a fillet) and overcooked. Service was excellent though as we didn't have a booking on a busy Friday night and a table was quickly re-set for us. Good wine list too. (Redchilli - June, 2008)

Cafe 129, The Strathmore Hotel
- 129 North terrace, Adelaide SAOverall 6 - Food 7, Ambience 5, Value 7, Service 5
I'd avoided the cafe downstairs due to previous bad experiences so returned for a work lunch expecting the worst but was pleasantly surprised. The menu had been updated and the food that was coming out looked much more appetising. My steak sandwich was good and everyone else enjoyed their meals much more than previous occasions. Slippery Fish Restaurant
- 3 Gawler st, Port Noarlunga SAOverall 6.3 - Food 6, Ambience 7, Value 4, Service 8
Went here for the first time for a catch up with girlfriends. This restaurant seemed a bit confused to me, on first glance the menu was decidedly Asian however, the specials board had western style lamb shanks on it! I went with the pork and mushroom hotpot which despite not having a single mushroon in it was ok. For the price that was charged I would have expected rice to be included but I was charged an extra $3 for a small bowl. On the upside the waitress was really friendly and even though we were the last ones in the restaurant and the wine was long gone but we were still chatting, she didn't hurry us out.
