Good food (the calzones are great) and good service despite always being busy at lunchtime. Food is delivered quickly which is good if you're trying to have lunch in your lunch hour. Decent portions for the price. (Redchilli - May, 2008)

The best yum cha in Adelaide, on Sundays people are lining up out the door! Despite the restaurant being packed the staff are always friendly and do their best to look after you. The food is so great that everytime you think you've had enough, another tasty morsel is presented to you. Great value too. (Redchilli - May, 2008)

Akasha Greek Restaurant

We couldn't decide what to have so ended up having a selection of Mezze - all of which were really tasty and decent serves and were beautifully presented on a big platter. Friendly service. I liked the set up of the restaurant, decent, comfy chairs with enough room between tables so that conversations didn't carry. (Redchilli - May, 2008)

The Union Restaurant, The Union Hotel
- 70 Waymouth st, Adelaide SAOverall 9 - Food 9, Ambience 9, Value 9, Service 9
I decided to have a change from my usual order this time (the burger) and tried the paella - it was definitely worth a go, a decent serve with enough seafood. As always the service was great, and despite being extremely busy, the meals came out quickly enough so that uor lunch hour wasn't stretched too much. (Redchilli - March, 2008)

Madame Wu's Noodle Bar
- 195 The parade, Norwood SAOverall 7.5 - Food 8, Ambience 8, Value 8, Service 6
I've been meaning to try this for a while now and finally got the opportunity and am now waiting for an opportunity to return. On first glance at the menu I thought that it was pretty standard stuff but then I noticed the special boards on the walls and realised I was going to have a hard time choosing! The spring onion pancakes were among the best I've had. The main meal serves were generous and very nice. The service was a bit off in that we had to repeat drinks orders several times but it was still an enjoyable experience. Will definitely have the laksa next time! (Redchilli - March, 2008)

Korea Jung
- 13 Leigh st, Adelaide SAOverall 8.3 - Food 8, Ambience 8, Value 10, Service 7
This is a great place. The serves are generous for the price, but when you add in the complimentary korean pancake and all the vegetable side dishes it's even better value for money! The food is very tasty but just a warning, if you don't like chilli let them know when you order. (Redchilli - March, 2008)

Friendly staff, great pub food - they've stuck to what works and great prices for a city pub. (Redchilli - March, 2008)

Jah'z Cafe & Lounge

The brown paper tablecloths and crayons keep you entertained while you're waiting for your meals - not that you wait very long for anything. Despite being "Fringe" busy and several large tables the service was good. The serves are a good size for the prices. The risotto balls were a bit cool but had that nice risotto texture and the (I think) homemade gnocchi was only let down by the sauce - the gnocchi itself was great. No complaints about the mains - the steak and pork were perfect. (Redchilli - March, 2008)

Elephant Walk Cafe
- 76 Melbourne st, North Adelaide SAOverall 8.3 - Food 7, Ambience 10, Value 7, Service 9
This is a cool "late at night" coffee place. Comfy lounges in an African theme. Good coffee / tea / drinks and desserts. Great for an intimate coffee for two or a group catch up of 6. There is also a garden area for use in summer. (Redchilli - February, 2008)

Brighton Jetty Cafe
- 85 Jetty rd, Brighton SAOverall 9.3 - Food 9, Ambience 10, Value 9, Service 9
This is a great night out guaranteed. The views are great whereever you are sitting in the restaurant and it's nice in winter and summer. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgable about the food and the wine. The food is fantastic - each time we've been we've ended up ordering most of our meal from the specials board and haven't been disappointed. The pannacotta is worth a go if you can squeeze it in afterwards. (Redchilli - February, 2008)
