    We went as a large group and were well looked after.

  • Greek Grill @ Beer Deluxe

    I felt like I was overseas at a beer hall again. The Beer Bible is a must for people to view.

    Just be careful they were busy the day we went and we had to wait quite some time for our food (& in the end had to cancel some meals as it was taking too long)   (Peta - July, 2009)

    It shows Gertrude St is moving up with the times - a very hip place for this end of town.

    A smallish menu but each dish was full of flavour! A little pricey for Fitzroy but the staff were very helpful. Just make sure you book as this place gets very busy.   (Peta - July, 2009)

    Food service a little slow but a lovely venue to share some Italian food.

    You def need to book for this place.

    The feel of the building and the friendlyness of the staff was excellent. Size of the dishes is good & the flavours of the dishes is great (except the steak had a little too much fat for our liking).   (Peta - July, 2009)

    It is great to go to a place which does fantastic food and provides large portions.

    All the dishes we had were great!!

    A lovely setting to enjoy a Japanese experience (& the staff were very attentive). Luv the seating in the ground.

    However, we were a little disappointed in the flavour of the meals and the food on offer was not very extensive.   (Peta - June, 2009)

    OMG for those with a sweet tooth this place is a must. There are so many Italian deserts to try.

    We went for coffee and cake so I can't comment on the general food but the place certainly had a good vibe for a Tuesday night.

    This venue was rated the Cheap Eats 'Hall of Fame' but whilst the food was excellent (so many flavours in each dish) the prices I didn't consider as being cheap.

    But for someone who appreciates meat I really enjoyed being vegetarian for the night (my fav were the Avocado rolls & the Satay Skewers).   (Peta - June, 2009)
