We had dinner there Tuesday last. You don't get a choice of light eating. You MUST eat a 3 course meal or pay for it anyway.

Food has deteriorated over the last year. I'm not looking forward to another visit. I cannot imagine what the famous owner thinks he is doing.   (July, 2012)

Tried it Friday night after work. We can walk there. I had heard bad reports about it, but you can never tell til you try a place.

I doubt that I'll be back. Wilted greens, tasteless fish, soggy chips. Why it succeeds at getting people in the door is a puzzle. My colleague said that the residential building it is in is loaded with elderly wealthy people who don't want to go out of the building. Maybe, I don't know. Perhaps the people should call a cab. It's better than heartburn.   (July, 2012)

I went for the 1st time last night (Sat). Four adults plus 2 kids. Kids had fish and chips. Adults had WA lobster x2 and tenderloin staek x 2.

It's the only restaurant that I have eaten in around Canberra in the last year that seems to really care about what they are doing and what the diners think about the place. I was very impressed. Great food and service, nicely decorated, and a genuine feeling of warmth. I will be back.   (July, 2012)
