I loved the pannacotta. Party in your mouth. It was fairly hot when we went in there and there were a few flies but overall the food outweighed any negatives. I highly recommend this place. (Charly - October, 2011)

My husband and I had breakfast here with our daughter in a pram. The waitstaff were very helpful and polite. Food was nice and ambience was great as always in the tropics in the morning. Very good. (Charly - September, 2010)

The Grill @ Hillarys
- Shop 64, Sorrento Quay, Southside Dve,, Hillarys WAOverall 4.5 - Food 2, Ambience 5, Value 4, Service 7
We were unfortunate enough to experience the Grill on public holiday with a group of 6 people. The service was average as we were told in no apologetic fashion that because of the crowds it would be 30mins before our orders where taken and almost ushered out. If it wasn't so busy everywhere else we would have left there and then. The food was horrible. The "Barra" tasted like Swan Carp and there was so much sand in the salad 4 of the six meals were almost unedible. Although we understand it was a busy time we would have been willing to wait another hour for better food. Very disappointing. (Charly - April, 2009)

Buzz Cafe
- The Slipway, 48 Marina Boulevard, Cullen Bay NTOverall 7.5 - Food 7, Ambience 9, Value 8, Service 6
We had the Mudcrab for 2 here for an evening meal. Although recommended for 2 people it wasn't quite enough if you're hungry. It was delicious and we understand now why the lighting is so dim- it's so you can't see all the crab juice on your clothes! Great atmosphere and location. Lovely wait staff although we were offered the dessert menu and accepted, no-one returned to take our order after about 20mins. Lucky we didn't want dessert and we wandered off for a beautiful walk around the area. (Charly - September, 2010)

Oscars Restaurant

This is a fabulous restaurant we visit regularly however we haven't been for a few months and were slightly disappointed at our meal last night. The meals were okay for the price we paid but the service was too frequent. I personally dislike being interupted in the middle of mains to be asked how the meal is going. The 'manager' man was doing the job of the waitresses so we got asked if we wanted entrees twice and desserts/coffee 3 times by different people. Have faith in your staff, they can do the job. By all means mingle but don't hassle the customers!! Aside from that and the leaning table of pisa it was an enjoyable meal but didn't stack up to the usual experience. They will have to pick up their standards when the new tavern next door. (Charly - March, 2010)

Madhatters on Milston
- 10581 West Swan rd, Henley Brook WAOverall 7.5 - Food 8, Ambience 8, Value 7, Service 7
We were served 2 beautiful dishes here for lunch. The staff were friendly and service great. I had the pork belly which was very tasty served on a square of puff pastry. My only complaint was that more dressing on the salad was required to counteract the dry pastry as it was messy and difficult to eat towards the end but still a very enjoyable experience. Would definately recommend it to others. (Charly - March, 2010)

Penny Garden Restaurant
- 4752 West Swan rd, West Swan WAOverall 6.5 - Food 8, Ambience 7, Value 5, Service 6
We tried the Penny Garden for an early lunch on a Monday. We were the only couple in the restaurant but it was still a pleasant experience. The meals, although a little over priced, were well presented and tasty. The view overlooking the lake is nice however the nasty powerlines would be less of an eye sore if they were screened off or something near the lake to draw your eye away from them.
