Hog's Breath Cafe - Joondalup
- Cnr McLarty Ave and Boas Ave, Joondalup WAOverall 5.8 - Food 4, Ambience 9, Value 3, Service 7
Food was ordinary, was luke warm and wasn't much of it... (Jarvo - December, 2008)
Restaurant response - It is wonderful to be able to reply to comments made. We have been open for some 10 years now and have enjoyed very satisfying growth in both sales and customer perception. We certainly try to treat every customer the same way we would like to be treated ourselves. We readly welcome walk -in customers however our goal is to ensure tables are ready for those customers who take the time to book a table. Sometimes it is difficult to immediately seat walk - in customers straight away however those that wish to take a seat in our bar are kept fully informed of the status of their table.
We are proud of the quality of food we offer and again endeavour to ensure cold food is cold and hot food is hot. More that happy to replace a meal should it not be up to expectation. (Jarvo - January, 2009)

La Vita Cafe Restaurant
- 36 Central Walk, Joondalup WAOverall 4.8 - Food 3, Ambience 7, Value 5, Service 4
The old guys in the restaurant are great and create a good ambience but the food is cheap and nasty i.e. using canned mushrooms (champinions) in the mushroom risotto. If I can't be bothered I'll used canned stuff at home, I look for something better than that when I go out, otherwise it defeats the purpose. It doesn't take much to use fresh ingredients. Typical of a lot of the food north of the river. The people who think this is a genuine Italian restaurant have clearly never been to Italy - takes more than a pizza oven and table cloth. Zootz Kitchen Bar
- 257 Seaview rd, Henley Beach SAOverall 2.8 - Food 2, Ambience 5, Value 3, Service 1
Food was lukewarm and very average. Nice place for a drink though, but pricey considering the Ramsgate hotel is 20 metres away?!? (Jarvo - January, 2008)

Cafe Brunelli
- 187 Rundle st, Adelaide SAOverall 4.5 - Food 5, Ambience 7, Value 5, Service 1
Had dinner there last night and when ordering found the girl to be quite rude, commenting that she was so bored in response to one of my questions about an item on the menu. The waitresses had trouble speaking english and were inattentive. A common theme throughout SA dining. This ineptitude shows why table service is non-existent in SA except at the top end of dining. Food was no better than anywhere else I had been. (Jarvo - September, 2007)
