Monday night, we arrived at 6.10pm waited in line for 5 minutes and scored the second to last seats sharing a table with two other guys. This ended up being fortunate as we were sat at the only group table in the restaurant which afforded us a nice amount of room, especially compared to the small teahouse tables that occupy the rest of the resturant. Though I had heard it was small inside, I was a little surprised as to how small it actually was. There is a just enough room for the waiters to squeeze between tables so it does feel quite squashy, it was also quite dark in the twilight, though this would be less of an issue during the night. The concentration of the people in a small space also made it quite noisy. The interior did, however, look and feel like a traditional chinese establishment and made us feel as if we were somewhere special. Service was efficient and friendly. The reason we went, though, was of course the food. Quite a range of flavours were encompassed in the menu. We started with Crispy Prawn Won Ton & San Choy Bau. The Won Tons appreared wonderfully fast and were delectable. Light flavoursome batter wrapped deliciously fresh prawns with subtle flavours. A delicious freshly made sweet chilli sauce was excellent. The biggest (only) disappointment of the night was to follow, when we waited a good 15 minutes for our second entree to arrive. When it did it was excellent, fresh crispy lettuce and deliciously floavoured meat was excellent and filling in its own right. For mains we had stir fried carrot with 3 mushrooms, a special in crispy skinned duck with sweet plum sauce accompanied by fried rice. The fried rice was the best I had tasted, light and fluffy, tasty and the inclusion of chinese sausage set it off perfectly. The duck was also the best I had ever had. The extremely tender meat was wrapped in a lovely crispy skin and the sweet sticky sauce was delicate and not overpowering. The vegetable stirfry was simply flavoured with ginger, shao shing & soy and impossible to fault, the produce used was extremely high quality. We weren't able to finish all of the food, the servings were a good size. It is not cheap at $70 - $75 per head without drinks, but the value is in the absolute quality of the food. Very Highly recommended for a special night out. (michien - January, 2008)

We came here for breakfast & coffee one morning, not expecting anything out of the ordinary, but were very pleasantly surprised! An egg & bacon roll came out and was huge, plus it was accompanied by a delicious salad. The drinks were perfectly presented and it was a cool, relaxed place to spend the morning. Judging by that we came back one night for desert & coffee, had the tornado, which was fantastic and by the look of the banana split at the next table, we will definitely try that next time! Next visit will be for a full meal as everything we have experienced to date has been wonderful. (michien - January, 2008)
