what an appalling experience, waited 1and half hours for entree, when we asked about our meal, they checked with the kitchen and then asked us to reorder, so they had lost our order. People were leaving and so would have we but my partner wanted to stay, for some perverse reason, I wish I had read the previous reviews before booking and we would never have gone, went last year it was great food and great service, there has obviously been a change in management, kitchen or front of house cos the change is appalling.   (anne m - October, 2012)

second time we have been there as we were using the entertainment book, but went the second time because the first time was so good, it is a good honest pub meal, large serving's and a great feeling in the whole restaurant with the booths and original wood pannelling. Went for lunch recently, I had not been for a number of years and what a difference. There must have been a change of ownership. Thank God. Last time the scones could have been used in any uprising across the world as weapons in place of stones. This time fantastic food, wonderfull lovely staff.   (anne m - March, 2012)

Fantastic atmosphere, but also very private even though tables are close together which may sound odd, but it works. Fatastic food and staff with great knowledge of wines, and great service staff. We have eaten full meals there and have also dropped in on our way home to just have the tasting desert plate, amazing value. Would return next time we are in Sydney.   (anne m - December, 2011)

fantastic food, I am not a vegitarian but my daughter is and we love the food, their barbaque is great and the tofu stuffed with pumpkin is yum and very addictive.   (anne m - April, 2011)
