I eat at vabys picton on a "very regular" basis and have done so since it opened. Dom, the owner, is very likeable, and is always on hand to make sure you have an enjoyable experience.   (August, 2008)

An overall reasonable experience! Credit must be given for FAST service. Our food came out 20 min after we ordered. We appreciated this very much as we have a 2 year old toddler with us. However, we were offered a 25$ "Best luch under the sun " on the internet but was denied by the waitress. Her answer was that "It was nmot available on Sunday"! I did not discuss this any further as we had our in-laws with us. VERY DISAPPOINTED!   (See my reviews (3) - July, 2008)

Great food, great service the best place in Picton to go, we are going there for our 10yr old daughters birthday next Saturday as it is her favorite place to eat and we are also thinking of having our wedding reception there - would recommend it to anyone.   (February, 2008)

Menulog provided a quick and efficient way of booking and this set the "first impression" of Vaby's. The staff were welcoming and friendly without overdoing it. The meals were beautifully served and the staff allowed time between courses so that we did not feel we were being rushed. As a result we all enjoyed the meals without the feeling of being "too full". The ambience of the restaurant also encouraged us to relax and to enjoy the food, the wine, and the company.
