Great for a lunchtime snack. Food is of average quality and the ambience is, well... shabby... to put it kindly but the value is good.

The Vietnamese kids behind the counter are always friendly and try really hard, so good marks for service.

The food is in bain maries but is normally good quality. Only once was it cold.

Speaking of cold, the restaurant can be draughty in winter.

In short, good for a lunchtime snack and by far the cheapest meal to be had in the Salamanca Place area.

Some paint, new chairs and possibly soft music would do the place wonders but it is really just operating as a snack meal operation at the moment, not a dining experience.   (Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin - See my reviews (6) - March, 2009)

Being just around the corner from where I worked, I would go here many lunchtimes. Definitely the best value in Salamanca but the food was of average quality, served from Bain Maries. Good little place for a lunchtime snack and staff were quite friendly but it is not aiming to be a special dining experience at all.
