Very dissapointed in the food, only average and my wife's main was terriible she had King Prawns wrapped in veal, the prawns were mushy and she only received 3 of them rediculous for around $40. Will not go again. (May, 2008)

At first glance the restruant was set out beutifuly. The waiters were atentive and knolagable. once the food started coming out some dishes like the scolops were 10/10 but other simple things like brusceta were quiet average. for mains i had the duck witch was ok but not quite up to the standards of the asking price. i have no problems paying good money if the food is up to the standard of the asking price. overall not bad but could be better in a few areas. Lovely restuarant but I found it very hard to hear conversation in the Restuarant, due to the noise of other general conversations seemed to echo thorough out. Table outside would be better if just a couple dining. (January, 2008)

we found Villa D'Este excellent as per our last visit however we did notice the attendance to our table was less than the last visit. It was still good but we poured our own drinks pretty much most of the evening. It certainly wasn't a problem doing this however it was noticed that last time we didnt have to once. Overall your restaurant is excellent and we highly recommend it and will certainly return. Cheers and thanks for a lovely meal and evening. (December, 2007)
