Awful. Rude staff, food disgusting and overpriced. Stay Away

We have lots of birthdays at Vinnie's, the food is always outstanding in every way. The service is always good and attentive, but not over done.They are definately the restaurant to dine at, We will be back.

We had our daughter, Allegra's, baptism at Vinnie's today and it was outstanding in every way, They are definately the restaurant to go to, either to dine out in or to have a function at. Also, we loved the fact that Tony allowed us to hire 'kids toys/equipment' as the kids were entertained all day. Thanks so much to Tony, the chefs and service staff at Vinnie's. Stef & Sal

Vinnies is our favourit restaurant the food is always good and the staff always helpfull and polite...We always leave happy, full and relaxed...love this place.

Last night, our family and friends joined us at Vinnie's to celebrate my daughters 21st. Tony and the crew made sure our experience in general, and my daughter's in particular was one to remember in the happiest possible way. Nothing was too much trouble, little & large requests were handled with aplomb. Children were catered for with expert ability and everyone left with a smile on their face! I was happily surprised by the bill and will certainly use Vinnie's for celebrations in the future. I simply have to mention the food as it was more than surprisingly good. We chose a set menu as we had a few turn up, and each dish tasted as though it were made for family. Quantities were sumptuous (and more than a little filling!) and produce was fresh and delightful. The wine list was well stocked with an excellent range from the lighter to the heavier side of purses. Though staff were extremely busy and at times thin on the ground, they were friendly, hard-working, helpful and happy to oblige all requests. Many thanks to you as we were not an easy bunch to work with, I know, and without you our evening would not have been the success it was. If I had one criticism it would be the music. I love piano accordion and the man you have was very good with it with the energy of a bull. We could have listened to it all night, but not with that backing track (which was totally out of whack with his chord progression & tempo) nor with the level of volume. It was almost impossible to hear people talk and as five of our number were hearing impaired, it was an issue that I didn't know about till afterwards. Please turn it down and lose the backing, and you would have something close to perfection. Hope you don't mind, but we will be back! Many thanks and kind regards, Julia.

I would recommend Vinnies to anyone who is looking for an relaxed dinning experence with very good service and food.

Vinnies is without a doubt my favourite restaurant in the area. We try to go there at least once a month. Some might say that the food is expensive but I would rather pay a little more for the best food than pay for food that is not worth the money. You have to try the garlic prawns in the tomato based sauce , and the grilled snapper ( when it is on the black board ) I dont think you will be disappointed. Richard

Our night at Vinnies was wonderful. I read some of the reviews on this website before we went... some good, some bad. Yes the restaurant prices are in the higher bracket --- but the food is also in the higher bracket. It was very well presented and delicious. The serving size was ok - we did not leave hungry. I can't comment on the seafood platter - because I do not like fish etc. The restaurant is of medium size and is excellent just for two, (which is what I was looking for). The restaurant was quite full - which is also evidence of its quality. We would definately return there for our next special occasion & would definately recommend it. Regards, Joanne

Vinnies is a diamond in the rough. It doesn't look like much from the outside, and to be honest I wasn't expecting anything special. So I was very surprised by the time we left. Their service was comparable to an upper class restaurant, professional, attentive and well structured. Yet it was relaxed and not intimidating, like your local cafe. My partner couldn't make up his mind between red meat or seafood, so the waiter suggested a meal was not on the menu and it was perfect in every way from his description of the meal to the way it was cooked and delivered to our table. They have a great menu selection and fresh ingredients, but be warned they do have quite large servings. So if you are after a local dining experience with great service and food that will leave your taste buds begging for more and your belly pleading you to stop, then I would recommend Vinnies. Make sure you book, it's not surprising they are so popular.

Didn't have a good experience last night (table 25), my garlic prawns had so much tomato that I couldn't take the prawns, my misto di mare was stone cold, we had ordered two oyster shots only received one and it arrived with the garlic bread when we asked for it after the entree and before main meal, we ordered a bottle of water which never turned up, the goat was bland very watery. My husband had to pour his own wine even though four waiters came past our table. Dessert was delicious. Phllip our waiter was great. I'm sorry but we won't be coming back.

Food was nice. Service was alright. Prices - inflated. Basically nice food, but way over priced. Was over charged on bill. Added extra breads to bill. Had booked online and was entitled to 10% - no discount offered, - we had to ask for it.

Celebrating our sons christening on sunday 27th April at Vinnies was the right restaurant to be at. My Husband & I would like to say thank you to Tony & his Staff for all their work. The food was unbelivable everything we had just tasted so good everyone loved it and was happy. Excellent food would do it again. Once again thank you for a great day. From Joe Angela & Family.

Good food, but had to wait 50 minutes after ordering. After our initial drink order, they never asked again if we wanted another, and they never asked if we wanted another appetizer. After we finished with the appetizer, they never cleared the dish. The bill had the wrong beverages on it.

Area was noisy due to birthday party of about 29 people at adjoining 2 tables. Service was friendly, attentive and efficient - excellent. Food was very good on whole but we had a group of 8 and one was dissappointed with main another with sweets. Value - a little pricy for what you got

Our family enjoyed the meals but was a bit disappointed with some servings. The service was very good except for one mistake with the waitress. Very expensive and wouldn't go again unless it was a very special occasion.

Celebrating our parents 50 th Wedding Anniversary was an easy choice for us. A welcoming place for all occasions. Tony and his staff know what it mens to have a satisfied customer.
