i thought the food was lacking variety and was cold. I did not see them top up the "buffet" once while i was there. It had a very dark seating area that was not very inviting or pleasant to eat in. The only thing they had going for them was the service. I would not recommend eating at this place.   (Gavin - August, 2009)

We had a great meal at Water Margin. Ordered off the menu and had fantastic dishes, fresh and flavoursome! Would recommend to others.   (max - May, 2009)

Extremely disappointed. The buffet was extremely old and tired. The food in some instances cold, or so reheated as to be dried and lacking all resemblance to edible food. The prawns were positively inedible. We also ordered from the menu. This also lacked any real flavour. The special fried rice was anything but special. Unfortunately this overcooked, undercooked and seriously bad offering of food was far over priced. Service was good but lacked effort. The meal costing far in excess of that of the local food hall which would in retrospect had a better and more appetising outcome.   (Greg - May, 2009)
