After over two years of taking over the Leaning Tower Pizza Bar, Waxed has excelled in all areas and is now a very successful trendy restaurant, cafe, bar.

Open for Dinner Tuesday - Saturday, Lunch Friday - Sunday & weekend Breakfast every Saturday and Sunday From 8am.

If your after a little something different and you still want great quality food without the over the top price tag, Waxed may just be what you've been looking for and delivery means you can try our pizza, pasta, salads and more for a convenient $5 extra from Lower Sandy Bay to North Hobart.

Waxed is fully licensed and some inside help with the wine and beer list makes this an unexpected treat, the exclusion of BYO is no loss as prices are reasonable and the taxi rank is right outside.

And of coarse, don't forget about our half price Pizza & Pasta Night every Tuesday evening from 5pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Large groups information

We can cater for up to 85ppl for a private cocktail party or stand up function where you will have the whole restaurant to yourselves for the evening, we also cater for up to 45ppl for a sit down set menu that allows you to have the whole restaurant to yourselves also. Prices are per head and vary depending on the food choices. A 50% non refundable deposit has to be made prior to the day for all large group bookings.

Very poor service (Mistree1 - November, 2008)

Restaurant response - I'm very dissapointed to hear that your experience at Waxed was not enjoyed. Unfortunately at present, good staff are incredibly hard to come across and as a result things such as product knowledge and good service are lacking, not only at Waxed , but across the entire hospitality industry. Although this doesn't make up for the poor experience i do apologise and hope to see you again some time in the future,
