      We noticed that the food had started to go downhill about 18months ago and have only been back a handful of times since then but we won't go back again. After ordering supposedly freshly shucked oysters kilpatrick, I was presented with what turned out to be bottled oysters in re used shells.       We used to eat the restaurant on a regular basis up until eight months ago when we noticed a decline in the quality of the food. We decided to try again last week. I felt like oysters kilpatrick and ordered a half dozen. I should have asked for my money back. Instead of the freshly shucked oysters that were advertised, they were out of a jar, put into used shells, dressed up and sold. We won't go back unless something positive happened there, such a shame.   (jellybean - See my reviews (2) - September, 2011)

      Worst experience EVER! I've eaten here in the past and there's always been a few communication problems with the staff. But today was just terrible! Waited 2 1/2 hours for food before staff finally offered a refund PLUS our meals. We got the refund but after 20 minutes of no food forthcoming we walked out in disgust. WORST (non)dining experience EVER!!!!! This was the final straw. My mother's day was ruined and we will NEVER be coming back to this poorly run 'restaurant' ever again.   (pete - May, 2011)

      Windaroo tavern is great ,,caters for all tastes and is the only place left with a nice salad bar and also a hot bar with really nice choices. Kids welcome , bar is good and staff are down to earth and willing to always help. This out Dinner spot once a week , fantastic!   (maverick - December, 2010)
