On arriving and being seated within the lunch period and greeted with what appeared to be an interesting choice of options, we were advised many items on the menu were no longer available. However on opting for soup we were in no way disappointed when it finally arrived. The serving was generous, piping hot and a quality, hearty meal for lunch.

Price was very reasonable and the food value for money. Although situated in a lovely old style building which reflected charm and history to add to the ambience, tables were somewhat too cramped and uncomfortable given slight lack of personal space and need to move a lightshade to be seated!.

Toilet facilities although well maintained and clean, were way too far away and awkward to access via steep narrow steps.

Definitely would dine there again.   (Glen & Les - Riverina Leadlight - See my reviews (4) - July, 2010)

We love Wine Bank for its wine and ambience on a lazy afternoon, the tapas menu still leaves a lot to be desired with little time or effort going in to making the food edible. The stuffed mushrooms were again the stand-out of an otherwise bland, dry and over-cooked selection of food. We made a point to try as much as possible this time, having been disappointed in the past, but little good can be said for the food - it's not macca's but it's not worth eating except to ensure the experience of the wine and lovely outdoor dining can continue for longer. The cheese platter was good, if boring, although we were shocked to learn that Wine Bank now charge an additional $2 for extra bread or lavosh should you run out. Given the decorative platter they give you to begin with, this is a certainty and a sad joke in dining given the wholsesale cost of bread and crackers(the standard of food leads me to the conclusion the cook does not bake it him/herself). I would receommend Wine Bank for the wine and its lovely position outside on a sunny day, if you must eat keep it simple, dips, cheese and pate and be prepared to pay extra for bread to put your pate on!   (See my reviews (3) - November, 2007)
