The restaurant is rather small so be prepared to be surrounded by fellow eaters and chatting noise.

The fried calamari (entree) was great. Then we ordered the seafood platter for two. Overall quality was just average. Have to say I had eaten fresher chilled seafood. Price is not cheap without the 25% off total food bill.   (See my reviews (2) - January, 2011)

The Gold Coast is not known for dining, but I was very plesantly surprised by Yellowfin. The variety of fish on offer was outstanding and both my and my partners meals were excellent (I had Tuna and she had Snapper). We will defenitly be back!!   (Simon Johnson - October, 2010)

Stumbled upon Yellowfin on a chilly evening, my boyfriend and I were looking for an intimate spot to grab some coffee and some dessert. We had the baked berry cheesecake and the sticky date pudding. Hands DOWN best sticky date pudding I've tasted in Broadbeach. Definitely not one of those frozen types, and it was pleasantly quiet without screaming kids, or noisy drunks. We will definitely be coming back for a meal next time.   (See my reviews (2) - July, 2010)

i went to Yellowfin not wanting to go there. i hate seafood, my friend and i are staying at the Phoenician for a week while we visit my family, so my sister dragged me there for the seafood platter, because she had come about a month before, but i seriously don't really like seafood. She INSISTED that i try it, so i did, and i actually really really enjoyed it. The fish was fresh and didn't taste or smell fishy, the calamari was soft not rubbery, and the oysters we really tasty too, just wanted to say thx, i may be converting, and we may just have to come back before i go back home!   (Alicia - June, 2010)

went to Yellowfin seafood restaurant the other night; was pleasantly suprised as we had no prior knowledge of it; my girlfriend ate the atlantic salmon and i had the wild barramundi and some darn good oysters; we loved the fish - really fresh for a change and we shared a lemon citrus tart; great too; slightly expensive but for what we got it is definitely worth it; will be back   (robbie - May, 2010)

We enjoyed eating at Yellowfin. We found the prices slighly high for the food. Over $28 for the fish and chips?? Butthe food was very tasty. But overall very pleased and we would visit again for a special ocassion.   (April, 2010)

      Sensational Seafood.

Fresh really is Best. That’s what we found when dining at Yellowfin Seafood Restaurant in Broadbeach. I have eaten at all of the seafood restaurants on the coast. This one was a real surprise tucked around the corner from surf parade. I thought I was eating fresh fish before, but I assure you once you taste the seafood at Yellowfin, you will know the difference. Great Night…   (March, 2010)
