    Zafferano is owner Albasio La Pegna's fourth restaurant in Perth, Western Australia and is situated in the historical Swan Brewery, overlooking the Swan River on Mounts Bay Road. Born and raised on the Amalfi Coast of Naples, Albasio developed an appreciation and passion for seafood, which is reflected in his creations throughout the Zafferano menu.

    Zafferano has the capacity to seat 120 inside and 40 in the al fresco area. A fresh seafood bar is the focus of the restaurant however the menu caters for all tastes. We also specialise in corporate functions and special gourmet dining.

    Defined as an Italian Seafood Bar/Restaurant, Zafferano offers a choice of traditional and innovative Italian dishes and an array of fresh seafood, displayed daily in the restaurant's seafood bar. The menu includes a selection of dishes created especially to share along with a wide variety of entrees and main courses. Pasta and sauces are made fresh and a dessert trolley is bought to your table with traditional Italian delicacies.

      A great location, with generally very good service and great atmosphere, an extensive wine list and very much a premium restaurant, with a very very premium price. Food is excellent, but as I have been wounded"a few times now, I will not go again unless someone else is paying.   (PG - See my reviews (30) - February, 2009)

      Avery expensive place but lovely to try for something different. I had the spatchcock which was small but enjoyable. Service was very good. Would go back but only for extra special occassions or more regularly if we won Lotto.   (scarletelement - See my reviews (10) - June, 2008)
