      Absolutly Beautiful, chef Fay is amazing. Her food is so tastey and perfectly cook. Its a busy place cos it loved by her supporters, 3 years and still counting. Never has she or micheal disappointment me, my family or friend that i have told.

      Had the 4 course set menu eg bread, entree, main & dessert. Very good value @ $32. Food was fantastic. Serving sizes were not overly big, but by the time we got through to dessert, our group (4 of us) felt very satisfied. Great service from a very chatty young waitress. Nice setting, but a bit noisy from the passing traffic at the outside tables (where we sat). Overall, definitely will go back.   (Shawy - See my reviews (4) - April, 2010)

      Zafron is my favorite restaurant in Brisbane. I first went with my boyfriend, and we tasted the food and were awed. I then proceeded to book a large party for a friend's birthday. We had chefs choice which consists of 3 big courses. Really nice evening again.   (Tantalize the tastebuds!! - October, 2009)

      Went there for dinner and ordered their speciality - Chello Kebab and Seasonal Fruit Walnut Crumble for dessert. The food was spectacular, the saffron rice was the tastiest rice I have ever eaten. The Persian staff were very nice and helpful.       Zafron eases the cravings of a restricted traveller. I have eaten twice at this Restaurant, the first on a romantic evening and the second, celebrating a B'day with my family of 9. Both occassions we received fast and friendly service; Our need for an adventure fulfilled; our bellies full, and our tastebuds addicted. Zafron's menu catered for my family of fussy eaters and the serving portions were large and flavoursome. I love the feel of the Restaurant; the Menu; the Staff and the feeling that for those few hours I am enjoying the best foods; Aroma's and sounds of another culture without having to board an Aeroplane. My husband and I are very grateful to Zafron and highly reccommend this restaurant to anyone!   (Emily Coleman - June, 2008)

    Farideh Knopf - Chef Fay is an Iranian-born Chef living in Oz for 28 years. She loves Italian and French cooking and applies her expertise as a qualified chef with 24 years of professional cooking with her native cuisine creating suptuous traditional meals and Persian Nouveau dishes. Zafron is her own restaurant, and specialises in Eurostyle and Persian Cuisines.

  • Large Groups Information

    For the past four years, Zafron has specialized in 3 and 4 course banquets for dinner parties of 4 to 70. We can arrange single table parties of up to 15 persons. The inside dining area (a/c) can seat 3 x 12 person tables and 2 x 4 person booths. Outside can hold up to 55 persons on 4-5 tables.

    Vegetarian and Gluten Free available upon request.

    Group booking policy Groups of 12 or more are asked to choose from our 3 banquets as they are designed to allow the kitchen to run smoothly, present a selection of diverse flavours and offer the greatest value for money.

    Group cancellation policy Numbers must be updated 24 hours prior to the booking. We allow for a 10% drop off on the night but charge a no-show fee of $22 per person on Friday and Saturday nights.
