i personally feel the service at Zeno's over the years has changed, and in a positive way. the wait staff are very informing, happy and polite, and make dining at zeno's all the more pleasant. the food is very tasty, and served quickly, efficiently and looks nice on the plate. the restaurant is very tidy, clean and spacious. the fish tank in the middle is a hit with the kids, and the view of the water, sunset and boats outside is always a nice sight to view while eating a delicious meal. two thumbs up for Zenos!   (happy - April, 2009)

we have been several times, seafood platter and grilled fish & chips always nice, fish just moist and chips not overcooked. also well priced. my husband had the grilled chicken which was not so large as previous times and not as many nice vegetables, but that could be seasonal. overall, its a place we will continue to visit reguarly and enjoy. our kids like it too.   (March, 2009)

Not that great. The canneloni was soggy and had water floating in the bottom of the dish, the steak was tough and chewy, the deepfried prawns and calamari were quite oily, the steamed vegetables were lukewarm and waterlogged, the salad also had no dressing which left it bland and dry. The highlight of the meal was warm bread rolls and butter before the meal.   (October, 2008)

We arrived at 7.35pm, I waited in the long line for someone to seat us. After waiting until 7.55pm finally a girl went along the line and asked who had a booking, who was waiting to be seated & who was paying for their meal as there was only 1 line. She finally seated us. I told her I had brought my own bottle of wine & I left it on the table in front of her and asked for some glasses. She left the menus and went away. At 8.20pm I still had not received glasses, I had not placed orders (but after speaking to my sister in law she told me you need to go up and order yourself) Well it would of helped if the waitress told me that. I was not offered a drink and had not even had water brought to the table. We had aour 3 yr old son with us who by that stage was getting quite grizzly and wrestless so we got up and left. I was so so dissapointed as I had surprised my fiance and got dressed up and everything especially for Valentines, Thank god I hadn't planned to propose to him, It would of really been a disaster. I think on nights like this the staff need to be more organized and ber allocated certain tasks throughout the night especially when it comes to seating people that have had a reservation and like I had fo about 2 weeks prior. We went on a Saturday night and although it was very busy they were able to fit us in at the last minute. The restaurant is very spacious and ease to move around and suits the family environment it is in. I would recommend the red emperor however anything on the menu comes out looking spectacular and the taste is the same.   (February, 2008)
