Eat your way around the world

Eat your way around the world

While most of us like to pretend that the motivation behind our obsession with wanderlust lies somewhere in the mystique of faraway towns and the hustle and bustle of other-worldly cities, there is no denying the real reason we dream of packing our suitcases and jumping on a plane is not to feed our hunger for travel and exploring, but actually to feed our hunger for new and exciting cuisines. Let’s be honest, the satisfaction of getting 100 likes on our photo at the Great Wall is great, but the satisfaction of trying dan jiao AKA Chinese egg dumplings are So. Much. Better.

Boy, do we have a surprise for you. From Monday the 20th of February, we will be giving all you great foodies the chance to eat your way around the world. That’s right. Across four weeks, we are offering a trip to four countries that are renowned for their delicious eats (in addition to their rich cultural and historical offerings, of course): Italy, Thailand, India and China. And, it’s as simple as matching your delivery order to the cuisine of our country of the week. Not that hard, is it? You’ll be chowing down on some chicken tandoori against the backdrop of the Taj Mahal in no time.

Let us break it down for you.

Week one: Italian

Order a mouthwatering pappardelle cremosa to eat while you re-watch Eat, Pray, Love to give you the chance to live la dolce vita in Italy.

Week two: Thai

Your go-to favourite dish, pad see ew, could see you kicking back with a coconut on Koh Phi Phi. Just a quick reminder in case you forgot: all you have to do is order (like normal) to be in the running.
