Nepalese food delivery from local restaurants

Geographically located north of India, south of China, and closer to Southeast Asia than either, Nepal falls on a historically active route for trade. Nepal has experienced a great deal of mixing with adjacent countries to produce a gradient of cultural changes from one end of the country to the next. Inside Nepal's borders the regional diversity is exacerbated by stark topographical and deeply rooted traditional differences. Nepal ends up being a turbulent mix of cultures; its cuisine is no different. Most of the food in Nepal ends up being a novel recombination of a number of Asian favourites.

Momo is a dumpling filled with Nepalese content, but the wheat and water-based wrap produces a steamed bun dish that has analogues in Chinese, Japanese, Afghan, and Korean cuisine. Regional agricultural products include buffalo, milk, cheese, lentils, fruits, wheat, rice, and other grains. Momos are filled with buffalo meat, vegetables, and/or cheese. Buckwheat, barley, and millet end up as noodles or get toasted then ground for tsampa. There's a boatload of different spices present in the area, and Nepalese cuisine makes full use of them. Sel roti is a sweet bread made with rice flour and milk in the shape of a ring. It is flavoured with cardamom, cloves, and bananas. Timur-ko-choup is a mixture of red chilli powder, Sichuan chilli, and local herbs often added to meat. Fortunately Nepalese cuisine hasn't left many of its crucial ingredients behind to reach Australian shores. Moreover, its come to include a host of new ingredients: chicken or goat serve alongside buffalo to replicate classic tastes; age old vegetable curries and puri bread may cater to today's vegetarians; taas is a newcomer that's similar to shish kebabs. As with many other cuisines to reach our shores, the flavours of Nepalese restaurants here are often throwbacks to classic tastes while remaining approachable to semi-adventurous eaters.

I like that you can specify heat levels for curry. Best naan and chicken tikka masala. Good value.
