Menulog launches $1.99 everyday delivery fee
Offering the greatest customer value for breakfast, lunch and late night.
19 October 2020 - Menulog has announced it will slash its everyday delivery fees for off-peak orders delivered by Menulog to just $1.99.
From tomorrow, every Menulog-delivered order outside of the dinner ‘peak’ can be delivered for under $2, with the exception of McDonald’s and Hungry Jack’s, which will offer $1.99 for breakfast and late night, and KFC orders.
That means breakfast, lunch, 3pm pick-me-ups and 3am in-bed-kebabs can now all be delivered on demand for $1.99.
Committed to delivering value for customers and orders for restaurants, Menulog’s new $1.99 everyday delivery fee is a significant reduction of more than 60%, all covered by Menulog. That means Menulog-delivered restaurants and Menulog food couriers maintain all existing funds received per order.
Menulog Managing Director, Morten Birk Belling, said: “As food delivery remains an essential service for many, the new $1.99 everyday delivery fee will save customers tens of millions of dollars in delivery fees every year.”
“We’ve seen customers shift to ordering a broader range of items on demand, whether it’s a morning coffee or an easy lunch when working from home. With this trend in mind, having a reduced fee for off-peak Menulog-delivered orders aims to drive more business for restaurant partners in these traditionally quieter times. In turn, this also provides more delivery opportunities for couriers, who will maintain their existing delivery fees per order,” Mr. Belling adds.
Customers and restaurants will automatically see the change on the Menulog App and website from Tuesday 20 October 2020 on ‘Delivered by Menulog’ restaurants.
