Saturday 27 May 2023I ordered 3 tubs of Ben and Jerrys ice cream. We were having a movie night which we rarely do as a family so I thought I'd get some nice ice cream for a change. I got one tub that I ordered which was the topped tiramisu. We also ordered a triple caramel chunk and a cookie dough shortie. Instead of them ringing me up saying they had none in stock, they decided to send me a vegan (dairy free) salted caramel which No one in my family likes, along with two squashed paddle pops that have obviously been refrozen and a bubble o bill ice cream. I called them up and the excuse was they were out of stock (that's fair enough) so I asked why they didn't call me? Which they replied, "we are busy"
You can't just give a customer random items you want gone from your freezer. Especially when paying top dollar for these products.
I did end up getting my ice creams the next day, fortunately they had stocked up. But a simple phone call and a refund would have sufficed. I ended up having no ice cream for my movie night and I had to drive to the restaurant to rectify the situation which put me out of pocket.
I personally feel like they are trying to juggle too many businesses at once and it's causing them to lack customer service.
