Community Before Profit!
When an emergency strikes a community or the world in general, the best indicator of community support and compassion is not found by how we look after ourselves but how we care for others. Which is why we have decided to offer Sydney’s brave emergency services staff free tasty and nutritious meals, 20% off for first time customers and 15% off all orders from Menulog and more, and free meals to our staff for the duration of this crisis. Chai Thai was founded 30 years ago by immigrant and solo mum Amy Chanta.
Since then, Chai Thai has grown to 10 restaurants proudly serving the Sydney community. Amy’s daughter Palisa is the 2019 InStyle Magazine Sustainability Champion and founder of a Certified Organic farm in Byron Bay which now serves ultra-fresh, nutrient-rich, immunity-boosting organic vegetables to all Chat Thai customers and direct to well-known Australian celebrities.
