Wednesday 06 March 2024#menulog #fail #menulogreview #menulogfail. Hi Menulog. I would have contacted you from your website, but you have made it near impossible to make a #COMPLAINT. I won't be PMing my details. I would prefer my complaint to be public with your response public. What I can say is my Menulog account is linked to my FB account, so you will easily be able to find it. 1. FRIDAY 23/2/24 I place an order through Menulog at about 6.15pm with estimated delivery 30-45 minutes 2. After placing order estimated delivery time is 7.05pm-7.35pm. 3. at 7.50pm, the restaurant calls to advise that my order has been ready for some time but MENULOG HAS NO DRIVERS IN THE AREA, and asks if I would like to pick it up instead, and cancel the Menulog order, to which I agree. 4. I get in the car and drive 15 mins (7.5km). 5. I click on CANCEL order, and I am taken to Menulog chat, the rep, advised that my estimated delivery time is 8.05-8.15 (they did not mention the original estimated time!!!), and then the chat drops out. The menulog rep. does not attempt to call me back. 6. I start the CANCEL order process again, and I get a call from the restaurant. 7. Restaurant advises that Menulog driver has arrived (it's 8.10pm), and did I cancel my order or do I want the drive to take it. I advise Restaurant to tell the driver too late for Menulog, and Restaurant advises that I will have to pay for my order if I Pick it up 8. I have already paid Menulog $165, so this would be a double payment. I have to then retract that, and allow the driver to collect my order and drive home myself. 9. It's 8.30pm when I get home and order arrives at 8.40pm. My sister and brother-in-law have had to leave (to collect their teenage daughter at 8.15pm), so now I have paid for dinner for 6 people and there is only 3 of us, and my sister and family have missed out on dinner. This is a #menulogfail. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A DRIVER IN THE AREA, I SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD WELL BEFORE, AND OFFERED TO CANCEL WITH MENULOG. and IF A CHAT DROPS OUT MENULOG SHOULD MAKE THE ATTEMPT TO CONTACT THE CUSTOMER BACK and ALLOW ONLINE CANCELLATION WITHOUT THE NEED TO CHAT as chat is too long and wait times are too long. IT's CALLED satisfactory #customerservice. In this case it was #customerservicefail. DO NOT MESSAGE ME. CALL ME IF YOU WISH TO SPEAK WITH ME.
