A little bit about us

Fat Elephant Thai in Canterbury has been serving wonderful Thai dishes for 25 years. Our diverse and savoury selection includes plates with a variety of ingredients such as duck, chicken, steak, fish, prawns, pork, calamari, and eggs. Our dishes also feature ingredients like coconut milk, coconut cream, rice, noodles, sauces, paste, vegetables, herbs, nuts, and kaffir lime leaves, all of which we use fresh from local farmers markets. If you would like something sweet following your main meal, our menu also features several dessert options, including deep-fried ice cream and black sticky rice in coconut cream.
