Delivery took 1hr & 10mins from placing order. Phoned restaurant at nearly 1 hr. Was told by vendor that meal had been picked up 1/2hr before and that she thought he must be lost. Said she would find out driver and ring me back. Driver arrived and his excuse for the delay was that he had to stop for fuel! The restaurant is 4.2km from our house...thats a 6 minute drive! And there is a service station directly across from the restaurant that would have been open at that time. So what the heck took this delivery so long? And no apology for the delay offered by driver, just his garbage excuse. Was offered a voucher from the restaurant if I returned the meal. Useful, at 8.10pm and we'd already waited over an hour for our meal. Definitely will NOT be using Menulog again and will not recommend it to anyone. If I'd elected to pick the meal up myself, which I usually do from this vendor, I would have been enjoying my meal within 45 minutes.
