What a great little restaurant, mestled at the base of the Adelaide hills. We had an intimate VT meeting here with Aussiedoug, simiindia and yours truly... The food was fantastic, the service was great and the company was awesome!!! We had a mixture of dishes...and they were all delicious, although apparently the vindaloo could have been hotter!!!

Our Group of 9 arrived at the restaurant by 6.30pm. It was already a very busy Friday night, - accepted - but we had been there for an hour before being offered a menu. The first plate arrived after 25mins. Part of a banquet. I had a separate vegetarian plate which was delicious but had to wait another 20 mins for mine to arrive. When the food finally arrived it was quite generous and tasty.
First visit to the Ruby Raja, we will definitely be going again. Highly recommended !
1. Use of internet to book was tops! Your reply & confirmation was very prompt. 2. We have been to Ruby Rajas many times because the food & service is great.
As always Ruby Raja is a fabulous place to dine.
Once you step inside this restaurant you are swept away to a magical place. The historical building with its classic fire places and wall trimmings set the scene. A friendly ambience fills the air as warm conversations and laughter can be heard quietly throughout. The aroma of beautiful Indian spices surrounds the diners, sending the waiting tastebuds into a frenzy. The food is devine, with rice sauces, deliciously tender meats and prawns, fluffy rice and warm naans. The service is exceptional as friendly waitresses attend to each table eagerly. Ruby Raja's is an exceptional dinning spot, one that surely must be seen to be believed. If you haven't eaten as this gorgeous spot, surround by the beautiful leafy landscape of Tea Tree Gully, then you havent yet experienced a quality dinning experience.

Fantastic, this is our regular weekly take away spot. Also a nice spot to dine in for birthdays, the staff don't give you the bum's rush.
Charming restaurant, great authentic Indian food and good service. The curry plate is a must!
One of the best indian restaurants in Adelaide with reasonable prices and a lovely atmosphere and great service. Also do take-aways which are a little bit cheaper.
Great food, beautiful surroundings - a must try... over and over again!
Great food, welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff.
Always friendly and food flavour is always consistent. The finest Indian food in Adelaide.
YUM, you have to try the Ruby Raja Prawns, go the mix and try some of everything, it is worth the try, and No it is not too hot, even my 4 year old loved the dishes

fantastic food try the curry plate great service and wonderful ambience
The restaurant is located in an historical, old house which is not suited to the theme of Indian. The dining room is rather small and cramped. The waitress was not particularly knowledgable about the menu and had to call another to the table to answer our questions. The food was good but contained too much sauce with limited meat and vegetables. The rice had to be ordered seperately. The overall experience was good but there is better out there.
Excellent traditional Indian food. Nice restaurant, great ambience. We had a wonderful evenig.
Beautiful food, restaurant located in a lovely old house.
