Typically consumed anywhere between 3:30pm - 5:30pm, Afternoon Tea is the life-saving snack that helps curb hunger pangs between lunch and dinner. Smart, huh?! Originally enjoyed by the privileged upper class in England, Afternoon Tea was traditionally a meal of savoury treats, cucumber sandwiches, as well as cakes and pastries, like buttermilk scones with jam (yum!), and cherry and marzipan cake. Basically, it was all very fancy.
